Introduction

Byllott.com was created in 2000 by Christopher Byllott in an effort to develop skills in the area of web development. At that point in my academic career, while pursuing a degree in Management Science & Information Systems at the University at Albany, e-business was all the rage. Byllott.com became a part of my portfolio to distinguish myself in the eyes of the dot-coms and consulting firms recruiting on campus. These days, the site is up mainly because I still own the domain and I haven't thought of a more practical use for the space.

Management Consulting | 8 years

I have spent the majority of my 11-year career working as a management consultant, where I specialized in helping clients (generally CFOs, CIOs, COOs and CCOs) plan, execute and deliver a broad range of global strategic initiatives. During my 8 years in consulting, I had the opportunity to lead several large-scale process improvement, technology advisory, strategy and governance, organizational redesign, post-merger integration and risk management engagements at some of the world's largest and most successful financial institutions. Organizations I have served include Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan Chase, Barclays Capital, Citigroup, Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, Lazard and Credit Suisse.

Barclays Capital | 3 years

In the wake of the 2008/2009 financial collapse, I became motivated to join the Global Compliance Change Team at Barclays Capital. My goal was to make a positive impact on the industry from the inside. During my 3 years at Barclays, I managed a team of project managers and business analysts dedicated to driving strategic projects that automated and strengthened key Compliance processes, including trade surveillance, case management and management reporting.

J.P. Morgan Chase | Present

Most recently, in September 2012, I accepted an offer to join J.P. Morgan Chase as a program manager in the Global Compliance division. As program manager, my role is to partner with Compliance leadership to drive global process reengineering and technology implementation programs across the organization.
